Description
The Annapurna Circuit began to take shape in 1977 when the Manang Valley was opened by the Nepalese government. Previously, this valley had been closed due to its proximity to the Tibetan border. Since then, this trekking in Nepal has gained increasing significance and popularity, primarily because of its major advantage of offering a wide variety in discovering landscapes and ethnic cultures. Throughout the itinerary, you enjoy regular contact with villagers and magnificent panoramas of towering peaks. The Annapurna Express trek is shorter than other options in the Annapurna region (it concludes at Jomsom). You start from the fertile lands and rice fields at lower altitudes, predominantly Hindu, gradually ascending into the "hills," and finally reaching Nepal Adventure Tours, in the high-mountain world on the north side of Annapurna, which is the domain of Tibetan Buddhism. Crossing the Thorong La pass (5416m) adds excitement to the adventure holidays Nepal, with a pleasant transition of the landscape similar to desert, making it an unforgettable experience. After the pass, the deep Kali Gandaki valley unfolds before you, offering new discoveries of landscapes.
