Round Annapurna trek

The Annapurna Circuit trek began to take shape in 1977 when the Manang Valley was opened by the Nepalese government. Previously, this valley was closed due to its proximity to the Tibetan border. Since then, this trek has gained increasing significance and popularity because its major advantage is to offer a wide variety in the exploration of landscapes and ethnic cultures. Throughout the itinerary, you enjoy regular contact with villagers, as well as breathtaking views of towering peaks.

During the Grand Annapurna Circuit trek, you start from the fertile lands and rice fields at low altitudes dominated by Hindu culture. Gradually, you ascend into the "hills" to finally reach Manang, in the high mountain world on the north side of Annapurna, which is the domain of Tibetan Buddhism. Crossing the Thorung La Pass (5416 m) makes the adventure even more exciting and the experience unforgettable. After crossing the pass, the deep Kali Gandaki valley unfolds before you, offering new discoveries of landscapes. The climb to Poon Hill to witness the sunrise remains an unforgettable moment. Along with the Annapurna Balcony, this is the true trek of grand tours.
